Career Day Info:

Due to COVID related restrictions, we are offering two virtual platforms for your participation. The first is for you to record a 5-10 minute presentation for scholars to access.

The second is for you to be available to meet virtually via Teams with classes at a designated time. You are encouraged to utilize props, photos, or any other type of visual aids that will provide our scholars with a better understanding of your career. Topics you may wish to cover include: a description of your career, your education experience, name and location of college, why you chose that career, earning potential, etc… We are planning four sessions and you may sign up for as many as you like. The requested session commitments are as follows:

Greetings/Presenters set up: 09:00 – 9:25 a.m.
• Session one: 09:30 – 9:55 a.m.
• Session two: 10:00– 10:25 a.m.
• Session three: 10:25 - 10:55 a.m.
• Session four 11:00 - 11:25 a.m.

We would appreciate your personal contribution toward a successful College & Career Day experience at Sims Elementary School. This is a community effort so please share this information with your interested coworkers, colleagues, or friends. I look forward to your acceptance response before or by Monday, March 15, 2021.
