Meet Our Assistant Principal

Greetings Sims Elementary Stakeholders,

It is truly an honor and privilege to serve the Sims community this year as the Assistant Principal. With 16 years of elementary school experience, I am truly passionate about the academic development and growth of our scholars and staff members. As a third-year Assistant Principal, I enjoy working alongside our teachers to ensure instruction is engaging, standards-aligned and relevant for scholars. In addition to my love for nature and spending time with my family, I am committed to building a world-class teaching and learning community were our scholars thrive. Ensuring that our scholars are prepared for college and career readiness and can compete globally is a priority for me. As I support our wonderful Principal, Ms. Shavon Beckett, as we are on an adventure to build world-class scholars, I look forward to building relationships with our Sims learning coaches, guardians, staff, and community members.
